- Synthesis of oligoethyleneamine containing novel theranostic polymers which are capable of nucleic acid delivery and diagnostic imaging. Understanding an effect of amine stoichiometry on DNA binding, polyplex size and T1 relaxation times of these theranostic polymers.

- Synthesis of Gadolinium chelated beta-cyclodextrin containing macromolecular  MRI contrast agents.
